Dear Fellow Christians:

We say, "Hello, and blessings!" to each of you, our brothers and sisters in Christ. We would like to share with you a short writing we found in a little devotional book by James R. Miller (1840-1912).

The Path of Glory The path of glory for a life lies not far away among the cold mountains of earthly honor, nor yet in any paths of fame where worldly ambition climbs, but close beside us, in the lowly ways of Christ-like ministry. He who stoops to serve the poor and the suffering, in Christ’s name, will find at length that he has served Christ Himself. Jesus lives in this world in His people, in every one of them, in the least of them - the poorest, the obscurest, the most down-trodden and despised. He calls them all "my brethren." The smallest kindness done to one of them He accepts as though done to Himself in person.

The King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. Matthew 25:40

The Holy Spirit saw to it that these words of Christ in Matthew, spoken while He walked on earth among men, have been preserved in His Holy Scriptures for us to read today. As Brother Miller suggests, what God considers glorious stands out in stark contrast to the carnal values of this world. No doubt, if we stop and look around, each of us can easily find opportunities to be a blessing to one of His struggling, suffering brothers and sisters. How simple could it be!? Glorious? YES! ...but not complicated at all. If we will just stop and reflect on how much Jesus has done for us, is doing for us, and will do for us, it becomes an easy task to focus our thankfulness and our affection on being an encouragement to our heavenly family who share time with us here below. I mean, who wouldn’t want to be a blessing to Jesus!

And while we are on the subject of being a blessing, we want to thank you for being a blessing to us through your prayers and in your donations.

In the Love of Christ,

Jerry and Dar

"Comforting Words of Grace, Number Two" is ready!!! We are honored and blessed to be able to announce that the second DVD in the series, "Comforting Words of Grace" is now complete and ready for distribution. (View the segments of these DVDs here.)  Using the same format as the first in the series, this hour-long video plays the instrumental and vocal renditions of nine hymns from the middle of our hymn booklet, "Favorite Hymns of Grace" while showcasing many short clips of God’s wonderful, beautiful creation. During the instrumentals, scriptures are displayed on the screen and read out loud that relate to the message in each song. We have prepared and produced this resource and make it available upon request, at no charge (as resources allow), as a tool for ministry especially geared for the elderly, the infirm and those suffering from dementia.
